Camshafts
MAHLE Clevite is the industry leader in camshaft affordability, quality and technological advancement. MAHLE Original® engine parts offers camshafts in a variety of coverage applications from passenger vehicles to off-road diesel engines.

Lifters
For the engine builder that chooses a solid lifter cam, MAHLE Original® engine parts offer the highest quality mechanical lifters found in the market today. These lifters are engineered to withstand the severe stresses associated with the higher lift and duration cam profiles used on our solid lifter cams. Mechanical lifters should only be used with cast iron camshafts and only those camshafts designed specifically for mechanical lifters.

Push Rods
MAHLE Clevite offers one of the broadest selections of push rods in the industry. Our push rods are manufactured to the most stringent specification using only the highest quality materials. MAHLE Clevite also offers a large selection of oversize and undersize push rods to be used in maintaining proper valvetrain geometry. In addition, all MAHLE MAHLE Original push rods are centerless ground.

Oil Pumps
A MAHLE Original® oil pump should be the heart of every engine rebuild. MAHLE Original replacement oil pumps are functionally equivalent to OEM-type specifications for oil flow and pressure. Every one is pre-lubricated and cycle tested with oil to insure that it meets performance requirements. In fact, documented test results show that MAHLE Original oil pumps produce up to 5 PSI more oil pressure than competitive brands under the same operating conditions. Nearly all MAHLE Original oil pumps use cast iron housings to offer better wear life and minimize clearance changes resulting from varying engine-operating temperatures. Cover plates are made of heat-treated, high-grade cast iron. Pump shafts are produced from fatigue resistant, high-strength alloy steel. All of these features contribute to your assurance of a long, trouble-free service life.

Rocker Arms and Rocker Arm Kits
MAHLE Original® engine parts offer a broad selection of rocker arms and rocker arm kits. These components are manufactured from precision heat-treated materials that are designed to be functionally equivalent to the original equipment.

Timing Components
MAHLE Original® timing belts are specifically engineered for each vehicle application. Belts should be replaced when they become frayed, stretched or worn. MAHLE Original roller chains are used on many applications including high performance, OHC engines and heavy-duty truck engines. Roller chains generally have reduced wear characteristics and increased endurance limits. Chains should be replaced when they become worn or stretched, as this will affect the timing of the engine and result in poor performance. A full line of dampers, idlers, tensioners, and guides are provided by MAHLE Clevite for import and domestic engines. Timing chain tensioners reduce noise and prolong the chain life. Tensioners also compensate for slack in a worn or stretched chain or belt, and help to maintain the correct valve timing. All MAHLE Original idlers, tensioners, dampers and guides are precision-made to match and enhance the life of the timing system. Because these parts play an important part in keeping the engine running smoothly, they should always be replaced when the belt or chain is installed.

Valve Springs
Our valve springs and valve spring hardware are manufactured by using steel alloys from the finest steel mills in the world. MAHLE Original® valve springs feature the latest design and manufacturing techniques to ensure durability and reduced harmonic spring vibrations.

Valves
MAHLE manufactures high-quality valves for internal combustion engines at several production sites worldwide. Our program includes valves of diverse designs and types with stem diameters from 5 to 12 mm as well as valve lengths from 80 to 210 mm for passenger cars and commercial vehicles. Thanks to the expert technical know-how, the high productivity and the outstanding quality of these products, MAHLE is one of the world's leading valve manufacturers today.

We employ state-of-the-art production technology as part of our large-volume production to ensure our quality standards. For example, we use plasma powder methods in the production of forgings or high-speed grinding methods for mechanical finishing. In order to make valves resistant to the high loads, our valves have reinforced seats, are hardened, chrome-plated or nitrided as needed. A wide range of materials is available for every application. For special applications with extreme demands, sodium-filled hollow valves are available to reduce thermal loads.

Not many components in engines are under as much load and tribological stress as valves and their associated parts. Tribology is the science of friction, lubrication and wear of bodies in relative motion. The greatest challenge is to determine the design of the valves. Our valves are designed for a wide variety of operating conditions in order to withstand extreme mechanical, chemical and thermal loads and to assure optimum heat dissipation. At temperatures up to 800ºC, the red-hot exhaust valves strike the valve seats more than 70 times per second and must withstand the hot and corrosive exhaust gases that flow around them. At every valve lift, enormous acceleration forces and retractive forces occur due to the strong valve springs.

Together with valve seat inserts and valve guides, valves form a closed system, which has to withstand extreme loads and stresses. Therefore, we not only have valves in our program, but also their tribological partners, valve seat inserts and valve guides. The combined development of these products in one system allows us the advantage of optimizing wear characteristics and minimizing component costs.
